Today, the College is regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and is comprised of five schools which offer more than 90 undergraduate and graduate programs, including more than two dozen that can be completed online.

The online computer science degree offered by Mercy College blends a foundational understanding of computer science theory with the practical experience necessary for job readiness in the field of computers. The program covers a range of skills and core theory, following the most recent guidelines of the Report of the ACM/IEEE-CS Joint Curriculum Task Force. Mercy College’s dedicated faculty are committed to providing real-world computing experience in their undergrad program, as well as the opportunity for personal interaction which makes online learning meaningful and productive.

For students transferring to their online Bachelor in Computer Science program from other institutions, up to 75 credits may be transferred from a two-year institution and up to 90 from a four-year institution.
